We have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, highly organised and dynamic individual to join our Safe Homes Team as our Heating and Renewables Manager. We are currently seeking an individual to provide a high-quality specialist service focusing on gas safety and compliance.
You will lead on ensuring our housing stock is compliant with gas safety and water hygiene legislation and that people living in, working in or visiting our properties are safe.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and various contractors. The council have aspirational carbon saving targets, and you will be a key sustainability lead and drive our renewable technology journey.
Experience of undertaking co-ordination activity, data returns, and assistance in writing reports and submissions on behalf of the service will be required. You will also be required to manage contractors and budgets and support with maintaining key compliance records; attention to detail is therefore vital.
You should be confident and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will need to work effectively as part of a team and with our partners in addition to taking on individual responsibilities relating directly to compliance.
A Standard check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
