Our work is summarised by our three key messages as: \n<ul>\n<li>capacity building using evidence-based systemic approaches;</li>\n<li>consultation with school staff and others to ’unstick’ barriers to learning; and,</li>\n<li>working at an individual level, informed by psychological and therapeutic theories and practice. </li>\n</ul>\nThe Service contributes to a wide range of local, regional and national initiatives, often on a multi-agency basis. We are a small, nurturing team in which everyone is encouraged to develop an area of special interest.\nBlaenau Gwent is situated in south Wales, bordering the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
