Manage minor construction contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Compliance and Safety:</strong> Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, health and safety legislation, and council policies.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Maintenance Oversight:</strong> Supervise and manage repair and renewal works to the council’s corporate property, ensuring properties are well-maintained and fit for purpose.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Stakeholder Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to deliver high-quality property services.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Financial Management:</strong> Assist in managing budgets, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency in all projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We support professional growth with opportunities for continuous learning and career development.</p>\n<p>Please note: You will need to have access to a car for business use and a milage claim is available.</p>\n<p><strong>The Building Surveyor interviews will be held on 17/18 December 2024. </strong><strong><em> </em></strong>Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.</p>\n<p><strong>We will be reviewing applications on a regular basis and inviting those who meet our essential person specification criteria to interview.
