To assist the Collaborative in the development and implementation of a strategy to recruit prospective adopters. To co-ordinate a range of marketing and recruitment activities and follow up enquiries from prospective adopters in a timely and professional manner.
To work alongside the manager in the recruitment and assessment team to maximise advertising opportunities and promote adoption in the region
To post approved social media enquiries and responses and maintain a database for reporting purposes
To produce management information on media coverage and outcomes on a quarterly basis
To work with communication officers in the five local authorities that form the South East Wales Adoption region
To work with the Marketing colleagues commissioned by the National Adoption Service
To assist with the development of a standalone website for the service
Be responsible for approval and uploading content on the website
To adhere to the Council’s financial policies and procedures
To comply with the relevant sections of the Authorities policy statement on health and safety welfare at work
To adhere to the principles of the Corporate Equality Policy and ensure commitment to anti- discriminatory practice.
To undertake additional duties as and when required.
