As a Relief Residential Youth Support Worker, you will work the amount of shifts you choose to cover staff who are on leave or sick. There is always plenty of work if you want it. You can work across both homes or choose a home that is suitable for you. We often have people who choose to work as relief staff as it offers full flexibility around other commitments such as study or home life.</p>\n\n<p>Please note that unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role, so if you do require sponsorship, we will be unable to progress with your application.</p>\n\n<p>You will work with the children who often have complex needs as well as their families. You will support the children’s development and wellbeing. We provide a comprehensive induction process to teach you all the skills and knowledge you need. We also provide an apprenticeship in the level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, with off the job training time and all course fees paid for by the Council.
