Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and ready to play a key role in supporting a dynamic governing body? We're seeking a dedicated Clerk to provide expert advice, administrative support, and guidance to our governing body, helping to shape the future of our school.
About the role
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for:
✅ Coordinating and arranging meetings
✅ Taking accurate and professional minutes
✅ Maintaining important records
✅ Advising the governing body on local and national developments that affect their work
We need someone with solid experience in minute-taking, strong ICT and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You'll receive comprehensive training from the local authority and have the chance to connect with a supportive network of fellow clerks.
The role requires flexibility, with four full governing body meetings each academic year (one per term and two in the Autumn Term), held in the late afternoon. Additionally, two separate committees meet once each term during the school day.
We are passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people. If you share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare, we’d love to hear from you.
