Join our team as a highly organised, trusted Business Support Assistant providing vital support to the Property and Public Health teams within the Place Directorate. You will provide exceptional administrative assistance to the Assistant Director of Property and collaborate with the Senior PA on Public Health tasks and projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidentially across multiple tasks and projects is essential. A professional, flexible attitude with a "can-do" approach and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment is a requirement for success in this role.

The Place Directorate encompasses Planning; Parks & Countryside; Highways & Transport; Public Health; Property; Building Control and Economic Development and you will play an integral part in this team.

Key responsibilities...
Personal Support:
- Diary Management: Scheduling meetings, reviewing the diary regularly to remove diary clashes, accepting meetings.
- Email Management: Triage of emails, coding for prioritisation, actioning and responding where possible.
- Meeting Management: Coordinating agendas and papers for partnership, management and stakeholder meetings. Minute taking for statutory/essential meetings and following up on action points.
- Report and Presentation Preparation: Assisting with background research and ensuring reports meet corporate timescales.
General Support:
- Updating SharePoint/Webpages: Ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
- Support Function Manual: Working with the Senior PA to update the manual quarterly.
- Recruitment & Inductions: Assisting with recruitment processes, including ordering IT kits/passes and arranging initial meetings.
- HR Processes: Supporting disciplinary hearings, grievances and other HR-related tasks.
- Wider Team Processes: Coordinating mileage claims, expenses and providing invoice/purchase order support.
