We offer a range of short-term interventions tailored to people's presenting needs and age. These include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), low intensity psychological interventions, group treatments, creative therapies and social prescribing.</p>\n\n<p>Formed in 2020, <a href=\"{{SIGN-IN-REQUIRED}}\">Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service</a> is a new collaboration which is responsible for delivering Primary Care Mental Health Services in Brighton and Hove. Led by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and in partnership with YMCA DownsLink and Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, the service provides a community-based range of evidence-based therapeutic and clinical interventions to support people with mild to moderate mental health needs.</p>\n\n<p>You will be delivering individual assessments and systemic family work for children and young people, working alongside our other therapists and counsellors in the delivery of interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people living in Brighton and Hove. You will support us in forming close working relationships with staff from our partner agencies, as this is essential for providing an effective service. You must be experienced in delivering family therapy with children and young people and be a qualified Systemic Family Practitioner.  The ideal candidate will be AFT/UKCP registered and have a qualification in Systemic and/or Family Therapy.

  • Required: Postgraduate Diploma Children & Young People's IAPT Therapy - Systemic Family Practice and Intermediate level training in systemic therapy as accredited by AFT
  • You will also have a sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures
  • You will have proven experience in safeguarding children and young people; responding to, managing, and referring safeguarding issues
