Guildford is a thriving market town and is a principal shopping destination with a vibrant night time economy. The town’s geographical location provides excellent transport links in all directions, London is just 30 minutes away on the train and the town is well-served by frequent bus routes and subsidised Park and Ride facilities.  All of this contributes to a quality of life that attracts many people to live, work in and visit Guildford.</p>\n<p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. All employment decisions are made on the basis of qualifications, merit and business need. Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and post-holders to share this commitment.  To fulfil this commitment we have robust systems in place for the safe recruitment of staff and volunteers.</p>","shortDescription":"","salaryDescription":"£28,724 - £31,724","publishDate":"2024-09-03T09:02:00.000Z","expirationDate":"2024-09-27T22:59:00.000Z","logoUri":"https://www.lgjobs.com/logos/logos/4ebca056-037b-4f22-8412-895fc6a11e8a.jpg","score":1,"featured":false,"enhanced":false}],"totalResults":8,"page":1,"pageSize":20,"facets":{"EmployerType":{"local government":8},"WorkingPatterns":{"1":8},"JobTypes":{"administration (secretarial, clerical inc pa)":4,"adult and community learning ":1,"customer service / sales":3,"democratic services / political":1,"driving / operatives":1,"environment / conservation / waste management":4,"horticulture, groundskeeping and parks":2,"maintenance and security":1,"parking / cctv":2,"planning":1,"policy":2,"psychological services":7,"public health":4,"social care":3,"technicians and tradespersons":1,"youth work":1},"ContractType":{"1":7,"5":1},"LocationType":{"3":8},"PublishDate":{"1":1,"2":1,"3":3,"4":5,"5":8}},"randomNumber":0,"noOfFeaturedJobs":0,"bounds":null,"error":null}},"dataUpdateCount":1,"dataUpdatedAt":1727451125924,"error":null,"errorUpdateCount":0,"errorUpdatedAt":0,"fetchFailureCount":0,"fetchFailureReason":null,"fetchMeta":null,"isInvalidated":false,"status":"success","fetchStatus":"idle"},"queryKey":["jobs",null,null,null,"680b9ec7-1f4c-4e96-8995-dd5dd6036bbc",{},{"contractType":[],"workingPatterns":[],"locationType":[],"jobTypes":[],"employerType":[],"datePosted":5},2,1],"queryHash":"[\"jobs\",null,null,null,\"680b9ec7-1f4c-4e96-8995-dd5dd6036bbc\",{},{\"contractType\":[],\"datePosted\":5,\"employerType\":[],\"jobTypes\":[],\"locationType\":[],\"workingPatterns\":[]},2,1]"},{"state":{"data":{"id":"680b9ec7-1f4c-4e96-8995-dd5dd6036bbc","name":"Guildford Borough Council"},"dataUpdateCount":1,"dataUpdatedAt":1727451125844,"error":null,"errorUpdateCount":0,"errorUpdatedAt":0,"fetchFailureCount":0,"fetchFailureReason":null,"fetchMeta":null,"isInvalidated":false,"status":"success","fetchStatus":"idle"},"queryKey":["employerDetails","680b9ec7-1f4c-4e96-8995-dd5dd6036bbc"],"queryHash":"[\"employerDetails\",\"680b9ec7-1f4c-4e96-8995-dd5dd6036bbc\"]"},{"state":{"data":null,"dataUpdateCount":1,"dataUpdatedAt":1727451125803,"error":null,"errorUpdateCount":0,"errorUpdatedAt":0,"fetchFailureCount":0,"fetchFailureReason":null,"fetchMeta":null,"isInvalidated":false,"status":"success","fetchStatus":"idle"},"queryKey":["jobTypesAutocomplete",null],"queryHash":"[\"jobTypesAutocomplete\",null]"}]}
