The changes are clear to see - from new businesses and jobs, to improving school results and to museums being recognized for their community engagement. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong>Your role in our journey</strong></p>\n<p class=\"Body\"> </p>\n<p>An EXCITING OPPORTUNITY has arisen within the Early Start and Families Service for a Family Hubs Engagement Practitioner to work as part of our Early Help Navigation Team based at Barnsley Hospital. <strong>The role is full time 37 hours per week working on a rota system between the hours of 8am- 6pm (Monday- Friday) on a permanent basis with some occasional evening and weekend working.</strong></p>\n<p>The role will be working with children, young people and their families 0-19 years, 25 years with a disability at the point of their attendance at Barnsley hospital working both in Accident and Emergency Department and wards throughout the hospital, listening to the voice of the child and family to identify and support families to access early help services and support to meet their needs.</p>\n<p>This role is for someone interested in making a difference to the lives of children and their families in Barnsley. Offering early intervention support, strategies and direct work to those families who need it the most, delivering support at the right time to prevent further escalation of need.</p>\n<p>You will need knowledge of services provided by Family Hubs and other agencies within the scope of early intervention and prevention as well as a good sound understanding of child and family development.  </p>\n<p>The ability to use your initiative, work as part of team and have creativity and passion to work alongside multi agency professionals is essential.</p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong>What you’ll need</strong></p>\n<p class=\"Body\"> </p>\n<p class=\"Body\">A Level 3 in a relevant field or equivalent qualification alongside knowledge of early help and multi-agency working.</p>\n<p class=\"Body\">You will also need to evidence that you have relevant experience of working with children and families.</p>\n<p class=\"Body\"> </p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart.</p>\n<p class=\"Body\"> </p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong>A lot to look forward to</strong></p>\n<p class=\"Body\"> </p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Barnsley is a place of possibilities.
