We have vacancy for an Attendance Officer and Student Welfare Assistant to join our Student Welfare Team.
The successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Monitoring statutory attendance and punctuality data daily and ensuring that this information is swiftly made available to appropriate staff.
- Follow-up on every absence with students, families and/or staff as appropriate and ensure all attendance is accurately recorded.
- Identify and implement intervention strategies to address and continually improve attendance and punctuality.
- To be the Lead First Aider assessing the medical and welfare needs of students and staff
You would also be part of a team helping students to reach their full potential by supporting them with their personal development, attendance and welfare.
Applicants must have a desire to see every child reach their highest possible outcome and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both adults and children. They must be professional, IT competent and be able to produce and analyse data for reports.
This is a busy role, and the successful candidate must be able to work calmly under pressure, use their own initiative and work well as part of a team. Being versatile, proactive and well organised are key skills required for this role. The successful candidate must be willing to undertake first aid training.
