An exciting opportunity has opened at Brent Housing Management for Leasehold and Consultation Officers to join us and deliver consultative services for leasehold major works and service charges.

About the post
As a Leaseholder and Consultation Officer, you’ll contribute to managing our 4,000 leaseholders, delivering the statutory consultative programme for leasehold major works and service charges.
You’ll be at the forefront of responding to resident observations, managing enquiries, and resolving disputes, acting as the sole agent between leaseholders and the Council. You’ll provide prompt and accurate consultation services, plan and deliver statutory consultation documentation, and ensure timely responses to leaseholder observations.
You’ll also work collegiately with multiple services across Housing, delivering exceptional services to leaseholders. You’ll have the opportunity to be creative, managing a Home Ownership panel with your team and driving improvements with your own caseload of leaseholders.
The ideal candidate
You’ll be detail oriented and focussed, with a keen interest in legislation and Housing. You should be enthusiastic about working in a team where the shared goal is to deliver fantastic services to Brent’s leaseholders.
You’ll be innovative, unafraid to have ideas and opinions on how we can grow and improve. You’ll have a commercial mindset, ensuring that leaseholders get value for money and building transparent and supportive relationships.
You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Section 20 consultation processes, and have experience delivering successful consultation programmes.
