To achieve this, the post-holder will be involved in work to support a range of key strategic and change projects, maintaining and updating policy, procedure, processes and practice guidance, to support the business in delivering a good quality service, while working according to policy and legislation and making the best use of local authority resources. In addition, the post-holder will provide best practice advice and feedback to frontline practitioners to support legislative and business process compliance.</span><br><span>The post-holder will develop and take a lead on discreet aspects of process and guidance within the development of strategic long-term planning, policies, procedures and guidance, taking into account the views of a range of stakeholders, identifying challenges and designing and developing solutions to make evidence-based recommendations for approval by key strategic business leaders. This could include utilising a co-productive approach with customers and carers.</span><br><span>The post-holder will work with operational staff and colleagues in Learning and Development to support the Adults' Services workforce with continuous professional development, to ensure they develop the skills they need in their role.</span></p><p><span><strong>What you'll need to succeed</strong></span><br><span>You will be an experienced, and registered where appropriate, social care worker with excellent knowledge and experience of Adults' Services operations and the requirements of the Care Act 2014, other key legislation and strategic business planning processes.
