Business Support Officer – Economic Development - (Ref: BSOED)

The Council is seeking to recruit someone with excellent business support skills to undertake this key role for the Economic Development and Regeneration agendas for the Borough. This role is a varied, creative position with duties involving:
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, communication skills and be self-motivated. In order to prepare correspondence and minutes from meetings, a high standard of written communication (GCSE or equivalent in English) is also needed, as is the ability to converse at ease with members of the public, the business community and provide advice in fluent English.
The Council is currently going through an exciting digital transformation journey, which requires someone who is adaptive to change and approaches this with enthusiasm and as a team player. This post can provide flexible working for the right candidate as there is a requirement to attend some early morning and evening meetings.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
