Would you like to be part of an ‘Award winning Team’ that provides person centred, holistic therapy services across the county of Rutland? We are looking to recruit a senior therapist to support the day-to-day management of our exemplary services, including major adaptations and our new in-house housing MOT and minor adaptations service, alongside our existing D2A pathway.
About you…
- Experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Leadership skills and a desire to develop managerial skills alongside a small complex clinical case load.
- Experience in supervising staff and getting the best out of people through motivational techniques and being an outstanding role model.
- The ability to work well as an autonomous practitioner and support a team with clinical guidance/reasoning.
- Community experience in adaptations or have a strong desire to specialise in this field.
About the role
- Work closely with our Therapy Team Manager to oversee the running of our exemplary services to meet the evolving needs of the residents of Rutland.
- Manage a small clinical case load, overseeing our adaptations services
- Provide staff supervision and clinical guidance.
- Approve assessment documentation using Liquid Logic software.
- Work flexibly to cover a 7-day service.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
The Senior Practitioner interviews will be held on 27 February 2025.
