About the role
Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational, innovative and talented Teaching Assistant Monday - Friday 8.30am until 3:30pm for 5.5 hours starting 6th January 2025 (the salary for this role is dependant on experience).
12pm - 1pm will be on a Midday Meals Supervisor Assistant contract at Grade 2 SP4.
They are looking for a person who either has a good knowledge of the curriculum and experience of working with Primary age children. Prospective candidates should have a level 2 qualification or above/relevant experience and a good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, behaviour management and policies that are essential in an education setting. There may be opportunities available for further training leading to a recognised qualification.
