They will offer support, guidance and training to school SENCOs and leaders ensuring statutory responsibilities are being met. The successful candidate will work within the SEND Support Team and the wider Inclusion and Outreach Service in Brent. </div>\n<div> </div>\n<div>The Person<br> </div>\n<div>Our ideal candidate will be a resilient professional who has Qualified Teacher Status. Experience of working as a SENCO or of planning effectively to meet the needs of children with SEN and/or disabilities is key. The successful candidate will be able to display sound knowledge and understanding of the range of special educational needs, and how these may be identified and supported. The Post
 
The Advisory Teacher for SEND will work with SENCOs and school leaders in Primary and Secondary Schools to achieve excellent outcomes through the Graduated Approach for children and young people with SEND. They will offer support, guidance and training to school SENCOs and leaders ensuring statutory responsibilities are being met.
