Foxfield school are looking to recruit some cleaners

As a Cleaner at Foxfield Special School, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your work directly supports the schools commitment to providing a welcoming and healthy learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
Hygiene Standards: Ensure that toilets, sinks, and washrooms are cleaned and restocked with supplies to uphold hygiene standards.
Waste Management: Empty bins and dispose of waste safely, adhering to recycling guidelines where applicable.
Special Cleaning Tasks: Undertake occasional deep cleaning projects, including cleaning windows, carpets, and hard-to-reach areas.
Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols, including the safe handling of cleaning materials and equipment.
Reporting Maintenance Needs: Notify the Premises Manager of any damage, repairs, or potential hazards identified during cleaning.
Flexibility: Support additional cleaning tasks during events, after-school activities, or as directed by the Premises Manager.
Key Skills and Attributes:

A proactive and diligent approach to work.
Awareness of health and safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
