We are therefore seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to advocate for all students and ensure that every students personal and academic development is at the heart of our school ethos and values. The successful candidate will be required to support, engage and lead all staff, both teaching and non-teaching, who are involved in key aspects of the wider development and welfare of our students. They will need to be able to build strong relationships across the school community, staff and students alike and have a hands on, can do attitude, which supports the work of the senior leadership team in delivering its vision.  </p>\n<p><br>Central to the school vision is the ethos of Care, Respect and Inspire which was developed by staff and underpins our values at the school.  This is led by a dedicated subject lead for CRI and PSHE who works alongside the wider inclusion and pastoral team to champion these values, in support of the ethos and culture of the school.  These values in turn underpin our work around learning cultures and behaviour, you will take a leading role in developing this still further.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of staff, both across the pastoral team and wider staff body, who care and are deeply involved in improving the lives of our students.   </p>\n<p>Pensby High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
