You will also support in the development of the teams approach, including embedding the Mental Capacity Act 2005 into every day Social Care Practice.You will assist in the supervision of qualified and non qualified staff.</p>\n<p>As well as providing professional advice, mentoring and supporting your colleagues, you will provide information, advice and awareness to provider services, stakeholders and professionals, helping to ensure that the  service we offer in  health and social care is consistent, legally defensible and helps achieve the best outcomes we can for the people we support, and their families.</p>\n<p>We are committed to your continuous professional development, doing all we can to help you to get the most from your career. We offer 26 days’ annual leave, rising incrementally to 34 days after 20 years’ service. We support flexible working and offer a generous pension. We also offer free parking as well as a hybrid working model.</p>\n<p>You will enjoy excellent support and supervision, with regular opportunities to discuss and reflect on your practice, both with your line manager and peers.</p>\n<p><strong><em>About you </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong>You must be a qualified Social Worker who is registered to practice with Social Work England, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development. You must be a qualified Best Interests Assessor and or Approved Mental Health professional, a qualified Practice Educator and progressed to an experienced Social Worker.</p>\n<p>In Halton, the post will provide you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills in Social Work. And be part of the development of partnership working with health colleagues to enhance the experience of adults who use adult social care services.
