London ADASS is a professional association that brings together the directors of adult social care in London to collaborate, share good practice and promote high standards in social care.</span></p><p><span>This is an important role to support the delivery of a range of programme, project, strategy, policy, improvement and change work to support the work of London ADASS. You will provide flexible, programme and project support to the team. You will take ownership of specific programme areas or areas of responsibility over time. You will support the communications of the London ADASS team including events, newsletters, social media and website editing. You will assist the team with administrative tasks such as organising networks and maintaining distribution lists.</span></p><p><span><strong>All About You</strong></span></p><p><span>You’ll be a creative thinker who can use your knowledge, judgement and initiative to ensure that the London ADASS programme runs smoothly so the team can focus on its strategic objectives. You will have a proven track record of supporting transformation programmes with a good knowledge of project management. You will have exceptional organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively. You will be able to make productive, professional working relationships with directors, other senior staff and Council officers, stakeholders and team members. You will have a proven track record of dealing with sensitive and confidential issues using your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral, so you are able to prepare high quality materials such as reports, minutes and presentations.
