We are looking for a dynamic customer focused individual used to work at pace, with a focus on delivery to high standards, and the ability to work autonomously.</p>\n<p>You will support the Major Adaptations DFG (Disabled Facilities Grants) and Agency Services Team Leader, as well as the Adaptations Service, in relation to the technical elements required to deliver the most appropriate adaptation scheme to meet client needs and to the required standards, in accordance with relevant legislation, guidance and policies, in the shortest time.</p>\n<p>You will also be required to draft the more complex adaptation schemes and act as the Service lead officer for technical queries and development in relation to disabled adaptations and construction practice, training and mentoring of TO's and maintaining the Schedule of Rates as required and instructed by the Team Leader and or Service Manager.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Candidate:</strong></p>\n<p>On a day-to-day basis the post holder will also be required to draft, design and deliver high profile complex adaptation schemes as well as advise, allocate work and monitor delivery by Technical Officers and assist with managing contracts and or contractors and CDM responsibilities.</p>\n<p>For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Greg Cooper via email at gregorcooper@wirral.gov.uk.</p>\n<p><strong>Interviews to be held on Monday 4<sup>th</sup> November 2024.</strong></p>\n<p>This post requires a DBS check. Senior Adaptation Technical Officer

About the role:
