This can vary between constant observation and welfare checks every 15 minutes. There will be a clearly defined routine for you to follow and <strong>you will be provided with support and training</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>About Us</strong></p>\n<p>You will be joining a <strong>small, close knit team</strong> of Night Care Workers here at Lincs Secure Unit. Children and young people come to our secure home via the courts, through the Youth Custody Service or for Welfare reasons. We aim to empower these young people to believe in themselves and to promote the best possible outcomes through education, health and intervention.</p>\n<p>We ensure our employees are well trained in trauma and therapeutic support, as enabling the children and young people in our care to feel safe and to thrive is what we are passionate about.</p>\n<p><strong>About You</strong></p>\n<p>Previous experience within a care profession is not essential for this role, as long as you have a good understanding of caring for children. Our residents can present with challenging behaviour and it is important that you are <strong>compassionate, with excellent communication skills and a calm, professional demeanour.</strong> You will need to have basic IT skills, be able to adapt to different situations and have the motivation to provide the very best care for our residents at all times.</p>\n<p>You will be joining a supportive and experienced team and we will provide you with the training and support required to succeed in this role.
