This includes management of nuisance cases, tenancy breaches and successions and assignments. There is a strong emphasis on tenant and leasehold consultation and participation within the responsibilities of this post.   You will work with a wide range of stakeholders as well as voluntary sector agencies who provide support and advice to tenants and with Councillors on issues related to their ward.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You must be educated to degree level <strong>or</strong> will have 3 years previous experience of working in social housing in a front line service managing casework.  Working knowledge of relevant legislation and legal procedures relating to tenancy management is essential for this role.  A BTEC or equivalent in a Housing related subject is desirable as is demonstrable experience and commitment to tenant involvement and empowerment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You must be an excellent communicator, be IT literate and ideally be able to use a housing software system. You will be required to attend occasional evening meetings and evening working as needed from time to time.   There is a requirement for you to also be available as part of the councils emergency planning arrangements subject to service requirements.
