Would you like to be part of an energetic, motivated, and friendly team that makes a difference in the lives of Medway's children and young people? We have an amazing opening for a Finance and Resource Officer in the Children's Commissioning Team.
You will be expected to provide complete and comprehensive administrative support, including efficiently handling phone and other enquiries, planning and minuting meetings, and ensuring accurate records are created on time. The job includes financial management, internal and external stakeholder negotiations, and guaranteeing a smooth critical service.
The chosen candidate will be expected to review invoices, make accurate and timely payments, handle payroll, and track and monitor spending and cost avoidance.
You should have experience of providing a comprehensive administrative support service to multiple teams. You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel and Teams. The role requires good teamwork as well as the ability to work independently to meet the needs of the service. You will have an eye for detail and the skills to interrogate and interpret. You will be organised and able to prioritise when there are lots of different tasks to complete.]
