About the role

However, many of our communities face significant challenges. Our Children’s Services were judged as “Good” in our last inspection so there is a strong foundation on which to develop services. We are far from complacent though.
Working closely with the new Director of Children’s Services, you will lead integrated commissioning and transformation across Children’s Services and the wider system. Our opportunities and challenges require a strong, resilient and collaborative leader, able to work in partnership with other agencies and stakeholders in a context where achieving financial sustainability will be key.
You will join a talented team that cares deeply about the families and children we work with and that is committed to further improving practice and outcomes. Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
