We love our barbecues outside in the garden during the summer and parties to celebrate special occasions.</p><p><span><strong>The role</strong></span></p><p>In this role you will be responsible for:</p><p>* Maintain the home to a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.</p><p>* Cleaning residential rooms including communal areas, offices, kitchens, and bathrooms.</p><p>* It's an active role - for example, you'll be lifting or carrying equipment as required.</p><p>* You will need to be flexible to ensure the needs of the service is fulfilled.</p><p><span><strong>Skills</strong></span></p><p>These will be used to short list candidates to interview so please ensure these skills are clear to see in your application and your CV.</p><p>* Ability to undertake a wide range of cleaning tasks.</p><p>* Able to communicate effectively with the people we care for, staff and visitors.</p><p>* Flexible approach to allocated duties and work as part of a team.</p><p>* Sensitive to the needs of those we care for.</p><p><span><strong>Qualifications and/ experience:</strong></span></p><p>* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.</p><p>* Basic knowledge of Health and Safety.</p><p>* Knowledge of COSHH regulations. <strong>(Desirable)</strong></p><p>* Experience of using a range of cleaning equipment including powered equipment. <strong>(Desirable)</strong></p><p>* Experience of working as a cleaner in paid employment. <strong>(Desirable)</strong></p><p><span><strong>Reward and Benefits</strong></span></p><p>Our values and support for one another is intrinsic to everything we do and will be a key priority within the assessment for this post.
