You will work closely with the NHS trust who will support your daily work with the children here at Medina House School.<br><br></p>\n<p><strong>Your main responsibilities will be:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To undertake the necessary training to provide assistance with screening and interventions in our school setting.</li>\n<li>Deliver screening and provide interventions, working closely with our teachers, teaching assistants, parents, and other health professionals.</li>\n<li>Carry out specific observations and gather information to contribute to assessments and subsequent plans.</li>\n<li>Guide parents and carers on children’s individual communication needs such as help with Makaton etc.</li>\n<li>Deliver targeted and universal support to children with identified needs.</li>\n<li>Organise caseloads on a day-by-day basis effectively and efficiently with regards to priorities and use of time, attend staff meetings and participate in reviews where required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will have the following attributes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-motivation</li>\n<li>The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and operate effectively as a team member.</li>\n<li>Commitment to improving children’s outcomes, and the desire to make a positive difference.</li>\n<li>Ability to organise own workload.</li>\n</ul>\n<div> </div>\n<p>If you are a motivated and organised individual, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for improving the lives of children in our school, we look forward to hearing from you.</p>\n<p>Medina House is a Primary Special School for children with complex learning difficulties aged 4-11.
