About the role
Little Common school is a large, happy school situated in the village of Little Common, on the outskirts of Bexhill. We are an outstanding and well-resourced school who can offer support and professional development within the role.
We are seeking to appoint a proactive, organised and nurturing teaching assistant to support children with additional needs. We are looking for a person who has a passion for working with children and can demonstrate empathy and relationship building skills. You will need to be resilient and able to work flexibly within a supportive team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting children in an educational or other setting. Part of this role is to support during lunch time with pastoral provision. The job description used for this role is the ESCC TA3 and the role can therefore be adapted within the scope of the job description.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30pm - 3.30 pm term time only, therefore the salary stated is pro rata.
