Monks Abbey is an oversubscribed primary school in the centre of Lincoln, we serve a very diverse community and it is an exciting time to join us with the school having new leadership that is determined to strengthen the school workforce. We are a thriving and diverse school that cares for 600 pupils who flourish in our friendly and stimulating classroom environments. We are seeking to appoint three inspirational teaching assistants to join our team. We believe that Monks Abbey Primary School is a rich and exciting place to learn and work. We are really fortunate to work with children who bring a wide range of experiences and cultures into school that we can all benefit from.
All roles are initially offered on a 1-year contract to be reviewed based on the needs of the school.
We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant who :
• Is passionate about working with children
• Can show initiative and can work as part of a team
• Is motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Can establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
• Can communicate with children, parents and staff effectively
• Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Is willing to train and continue own learning
• Demonstrates good literacy and numeracy skills
• Demonstrates professional conduct at all times
