The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Mental Capacity Act legislation, Human Rights, and the Care Act. If you have a passion for working with adults with learning disabilities and are committed to tailoring support on an individual basis and building on people’s strengths, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>1. Varied caseload:</p>\n<p>   - We work with individuals with learning disabilities living in a variety of settings, including at times of change. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills base in multiple areas.</p>\n<p>2. Assessing, protecting, and representing in court:</p>\n<p>   - You'll be responsible for assessing needs under the Care Act, ensuring safety through safeguarding, and evaluating the capacity of individuals. Your role includes court work, where you'll represent and advocate for people, making sure their needs and rights are represented.</p>\n<p>3. Teamwork for independence and life opportunities:</p>\n<p>   - Working closely with the person, their families, MDT, and a supportive management team, you'll collaborate with others to come up with strategies to help people be more independent and open up opportunities in their lives.
