Musical Instruments Manager
Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 0FJ (Remote)

Salary range: £36,522 - £38,058 p.a. inc. London weighting

• Efficient and accurate administration of instrumental hires
• Manage the service’s assets and maintain the asset register
• Handling customer enquiries and providing excellent service.
• Making deliveries and collections of instruments to schools across the local authority.
• Supporting ensemble performances in the evening and on some weekends
• Basic maintenance of musical instruments.
• Collaborating with specialist Instrument Technicians.
• Check and allocate musical instruments for hire.
• Maintain an asset register.
• Daily communication with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
• Complete basic maintenance or repairs of instruments.
• Liaise with instrument repairers for advanced, specialist repairs.
• Interest in musical instruments.
• Knowledge of basic instrumental repair.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission transit van and make deliveries throughout the local authority.
• Ability to set up instruments.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
• Knowledge of manual handling and working at heights or a willingness to undergo training.
• Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
